Brooklyn NY Engagement Session
A few weeks ago I did a casual little day trip to New York City to photograph this adorable little Brooklyn NY Engagement Session. Given the current status of flights and the way I had to drive to New Orleans (10 hours) last weekend because of them, I’m amazed I got to NY and back without any delays. Honestly, I would plan another day trip for a session as well, given if flights do go well that it’s only an hour and a half from Louisville. Which, is the perfect amount of time for a nap in my opinion.
I was honestly banking on there being SOME cloud coverage on this day, but alas, we had bright direct sunlight the entire time. We worked with it. We hid from the heat. We took an ice cream break.We even walked a bit of the overly crowded Brooklyn Bridge at the end of the session. It was honestly a great day, besides the heat, and I’m glad I was able to do it. It made me realize how all of this time I could have been going up and doing all of the things I’ve wanted to do in the city without planning a huge grand trip.
Also, a shoutout to Dave for picking me up and getting me around the city, as always.
