Country Kentucky Wedding
I photographed this fun wedding back in 2017. It’s the best example of a country Kentucky wedding that I have, and really shows you how you can transform a barn into something beautiful. Also, if you live in the state you’re likely to know someone that owns property you can host your wedding on, which is A++. Besides being able to customize as much as you want (probably) you’ll cut way back on wedding fees by having the wedding on private property.
I love the personal touch it adds to weddings when people do get married at places they have a connection to as well. It adds so much more to the mood and how comfortable you are vs. having the wedding at a venue you’ve only toured once. It’s definitely something to consider if you are getting married soon and are having difficulty finding the right venue for your style and budget.
Also, regardless of the venue you choose try to hand some bright string lights outside! This will allow us to do some night portraits and for you to have a breather during dancing. It also means you’ll have some truly unique photos from your wedding that a lot of people don’t have. I love shooting with string lights and would love to do it more often.
