I had an insane travel schedule in the fall. After I photographed the Hawaii wedding I spent a few days on the islands and then flew from there out to South Carolina for this wedding. I definitely don’t recommend doing this because the time change adjustment and the jet lag are terrible. I honestly never would have taken on that commitment had I not already been experienced in dealing with that type of travel.
The exhaustion and travel were worth it though. I had two days to recover before going to the wedding and I can not say enough good things about Manisha and Joel. Or how truly lucky they are to have such a spectacular support system like they do in their friends and family. Every single person I encountered throughout the day was kind and inviting. They really embraced this couple and showed them how much they are cared for.
I’ve said it a million times but I am so lucky that this is my job. That I get to be surrounded by love and meet so many wonderful individuals. I’m lucky that I get to travel and see the world. I’m lucky I get to experience REAL love stories in person and up close.
