In Studio Creative Session
I first became aware of Kelsey on tiktok. Which seems to be the story of how I’m meeting all of my new people lately. I came across one of her videos where she had turned an old blanket into this beautiful jacket. I followed her, then she followed me, and then we both discovered that we both lived in Kentucky. Granted she lives about an hour away – but who cares.
I took a LONG break from shooting from November until March, and while it felt really good to be able to just hangout and play animal crossing – I needed a refresher. I also really needed to stretch my creative muscles and the best way to do that for me is to limit myself in somehow. So I ordered a black backdrop, asked a friend if I could borrow her studio, and reached out to Kelsey to see if her and her boyfriend would want to model for me. It turned out amazingly and I’m so happy that I had this set to do to refresh my brain and hang out with Olivia as well.
While I also did my normal edit for these images I thought it would be fun to make them look like old film as well. I actually really like this edit, so this is the one I’ve decided to blog.
