Tay and Ean’s Kansas City Wedding Session
All the tears were cried at their wedding. It was the first wedding I’ve been a guest at in over three years, and it was the best day. Watching two of my favorite people commit themselves to one another is literally incredible and I am entirely too lucky that this job has brought Tay into my life. She actually purchased SIX wedding dresses, so I asked to photograph her and Ean the day after the wedding in one she didn’t wear the day of.
Tay has been one of my biggest supporters, best friends, secret keepers, shoulder to cry on, and I can honestly never repay her. She was there for me through some of the worst times in my life. She’s always open to talk. Always open to help. Always there because she’s a freaking amazing person and she actually cares about people. I couldn’t have gotten through last year without her.
That’s why it was a no brainer to fly into Houston to meet up with Nadine so that we could drive up the arbor for Tay and Eans wedding to make it perfect. I would literally do anything for Tay including giving her my first born (sorry Zapp), because that’s what she would do for any of us.
I’m glad I got to photograph her and Ean in such an authentic way. I might even frame and print these to hang on my own wall because they remind me what love is and what it should be. They have such a beautiful relationship and I can’t even describe how truly beautiful it is. I am so glad they found one another.
P.S. They adopted Nadine halfway through the session, and they’re obviously thrilled with their new daughter.
