LGBTQ+ Friendly Wedding Vendors in Kentucky
Inspired by my dear friend Tay, who made a LGBTQ+ listing of vendors in Kansas City, I decided to do one for Kentucky. I have had multiple clients over the years come to me and tell me that they were turned down by other vendors because of who they love. I don’t want that for anyone moving forward. I can’t imagine the heartache that would make anyone feel and I hope having a comprehensive list I can point people to helps. I hope you find this list useful while planning your wedding and I hope that it means that you find vendors that will show you the respect and love that you deserve.
I am still looking for all types of vendors to fill this list in with. Originally I was only going to add 5 businesses per category BUT I realize that the need is far greater than that. If you are an LGBTQ+ friendly business (minus photographers.. I have so many of you listed already!) and want to be added please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or reach out to me via social media. I will be checking your websites to make sure that you are truly LGBTQ+ friendly and not just saying you are to make money. That is actually a huge issue within the wedding community and I would hate to send people your way if you don’t really believe in the service you’re providing. Ideally I would like to also ensure that you aren’t voting in people that would take rights away from the community.
If you are looking at this list and see someone that is not actually LGBTQ+ friendly please let me know ASAP so I can remove them.
