Mt. Rainier Couples Session

Mt. Rainier Couples Session by Los Angeles Wedding Photographer Brandi Potter

This was my first time going up to Mt. Rainier National Park and boy oh boy was it gorgeous. The peak was hidden for most of the time we were up there, but definitely showed herself towards twilight. The beauty is right up there with Sedona for me, and I’m obviously super stoked to actually FINALLY move to Seattle and explore the mountain more.

Me and my friend Dan (I’ve shot with him a couple of times.) drove up to the entrance of the park to meet Leanne and Zach. We parked, hoped in the car and then went off exploring. We went to a section of the mountain that Leanne had wanted to visit. There’s just something about hoping out of the car and immediately being surrounded by so much beauty that takes your breath away. I’ve been in the mountains of Colorado, but never in mountains like this, and I’m still just in awe.

Honestly, I don’t know how ANYONE could take a bad photo with this as their backdrop. It honestly felt like I was cheating by shooting up there. It should definitely be mandatory for professional wedding photographers to live in the midwest for at least one season so they can see how hard it can be, because WOW. I don’t think I’ll ever get bored of shooting on the mountain now.
