Quirky In Home Session

Quirky In Home Session by Los Angeles Wedding Photographer Brandi Potter

This was the last official session I had before the world completely fell apart. I was still supposed to have a few sessions in California in late March so I decided to drive out instead of flying. I wanted to minimize my risk as much as possible because I was supposed to be back in Kentucky by April 3rd. The plan was to get in and get out as soon as I could and make it back to finish the RV so I could get on the road by the summer.

Obviously that didn’t happen. The lockdowns went into place literally 2 days after I made it to California so I guess it’s safe to say I’ve officially moved (insert the crying laughing face here).

The first day I got on the road though I stopped at Zach and Rosalie’s cute little house to do this session and to have lunch with them. Jupiter immediately took to them both and wouldn’t stop jumping into the photos to give Rosalie kisses which is probably the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. It was really nice to have some sort of normal that day with friends as it felt like the entire world was falling apart around us.

I’m happy we were able to do this, and happy we were finally able to meet in person. I can’t wait for the world to go back to ‘normal’ so that we can continue hanging out and playing with each others puppies.
