The Best Photos of 2020 by Louisville Wedding Photographer Brandi Potter
It’s been a few years since I’ve actually done one of these posts, but with our current predicaments and covid still raging I wanted to share SOME good that came from 2020. Last year was supposed to be more than it was for me. After several really bad years of loss and things piling on I was really looking forward to making 2020, in lack of better words, my bitch.
Obviously, that didn’t happen for anyone other than Jeff Bezos this year. Which is fine for me. I learned how to slow down in 2020 after going non stop for years. It was a year of a lot of self reflection. A year of a lot of lows and some highs. Of high stress and relaxation. Of letting go of friendships and forming stronger, deeper connections with others. It was a year of re-evaluating what’s important to me and what I actually want out of life. It was a year of learning new things and letting go of others.
2020 was a hell of a year that I will never forget. I doubt anyone that lived through it will.
Thank you to every single person I photographed this year for making it somewhat “normal”. For pushing me. For trusting me. You all made my year.
