Thornewood Castle Wedding

Thornewood Castle Wedding by Los Angeles Wedding Photographer Brandi Potter

Have you ever been to a place that is so you that you are in awe every single second you’re there? That’s what shooting at Thornewood was like for me. All of my creepy haunted mansion dreams have finally come true, and now all I want to do is shoot in big old spooky houses. Especially those that had some of my favorite creepy movies filmed in them (hello, Rose Red).

Kali and Parkers aesthetic fit the Thornewood Castle perfectly. The whole vibe of the day was one I’ll never forget. This family really loves each other and seeing them interact and be with one another all day is one of the reasons I love shooting weddings. It’s all about the moments and the people. Mountains are great and shooting portraits in epic locations is fun, but I will forever love seeing family and friends celebrate a couple on their big day.

I also got to spend the day with Kyndall, who I don’t get to see enough. After this trip she’s banned me from ever picking our hotels again, but that’s completely fine with me. So a huge thank you to her for coming from Idaho to Seattle to shoot with me and to just hang out.
